Shawn Harris is in his first season as the head 8th grade basketball coach for the Mill Creek Warriors. He is currently the boys' and girls' 8th grade basketball coach at Heatherwood Middle School in Mill Creek and the 8th grade head coach for the Everett Junior Wildcats program. Last season, Shawn was the head girls' varsity basketball coach at North Kitsap in Poulsbo, WA. Before relocating to Washington state, he was formerly the head boys' JV and assistant varsity basketball coach at Nipmuc Regional High School. Previously, from 2013-2018, Shawn was the head girls' varsity basketball coach at Woonsocket High School where he was an alumnus (2010). Before getting promoted, Shawn was the head girls' middle basketball coach for two years.
Coach Harris also has extensive playing experience, playing high school ball at Woonsocket High School where he was a guard and captain. He later on pursued his coaching career as a junior.
Coach Harris has an Associate's Degree in Education from the Community College of Rhode Island and is currently enrolled at Western Governor University where he is working towards his Bachelor of Education Degree.

Mark Joplin was a standout high school golfer at Monroe High School and has had a passion for basketball since playing in second grade wearing his red high top Chuck Taylor’s. His own high school experiences of one year of varsity basketball and high leverage situations during golf tournaments have driven his focus and study of the inner game. Coach Jop is always looking to pass along mental skills to players that will not only help them in sports but give them tools that they can use in other aspects of their lives as well.
Coach Jop has been blessed to be the head coach for the 7-8th and the 5-6th boys basketball teams at Zion Lutheran School in Lake Stevens for the past 7 years. Prior to coaching at Zion Mark spent several seasons coaching youth rec basketball. He has also had the opportunity to serve as the head coach and assistant coach for the Archbishop Murphy 8th grade Feeder team over the past few seasons.
Coach Jop is thrilled to be a part of this program with knowledgeable coaches and a wonderful group of players.

Brian Schattner grew up in South Florida and has always had a passion for sports. He started coaching basketball when he moved to Seattle 8 years ago, coaching kindergartners up to the 8th grade level. He’s coached both recreational and feeder teams, most recently with Jackson Wolfpack feeder team.
Through his journey of coaching, Brian fell in love with the game of basketball, focusing on player development, teamwork, and nothing is more rewarding to him than seeing the progress the kids make throughout the season.
Brian currently works for Nordstrom as a Buy Planner in Men’s Shoes. He graduated with a Sports Management degree at Georgia Southern University and then received his MBA at the University of Wisconsin.

Pere Hach has loved the game of basketball his whole life but developed the love for coaching youth basketball after graduating high school in 2014. He's coached at the elementary level up to high school level. He's happy to be part of the Mill Creek Warriors family and is ready to give back to the community!

Bim Makinde ("Coach Mak") grew up in Phoenix, AZ where he was an all-state basketball player. He played collegiately at Seattle University from 2003-2006. He has been involved in youth sports as a coach, camp counselor, skills developer, and strength and conditioning trainer for more than 20 years. His passion is teaching young athletes the skills and mindset needed to compete and thrive at the highest level possible.

David Kim enjoys the game of basketball and loves seeing the kids get better. He's coached at Alderwood Boys and Girls Club 6th grade boys, and Mill Creek YMCA, 1st-2nd grade girls, 2nd-3rd grade girls, 2nd-3rd grade boys, and 3rd-4th grade boys.

Josh Reisman has dedicated over 20 years to the game of basketball. His deep knowledge and experience along with his inherent ability to connect with people are what gives him his edge. As a student-athlete, Josh led his high school team to an undefeated state championship and was awarded state player of the year. His achievements earned him a full-ride basketball scholarship to Gonzaga University, followed by BYU, where he acquired his bachelor's degree in sociology. Josh then played over 5 years of international professional basketball and now works in child and youth development, coaches basketball, and provides individual and group training.

Henry Wong played two years of college basketball at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and coached over ten years at various levels from recreational to AAU in Texas, California, Washington, and international.
Through his basketball journey and experience, Henry loves to pay it forward and inspire children so they can do great at whatever they want to do.
He is currently working for Bluetooth SIG as a Senior Market Development Manager. Henry holds a B.S. in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Dylan Boling grew up in a small town in Eastern Arizona. After graduating from high school, he moved to The Valley. Dylan started his coaching career as the Student Assistant for the Men’s Basketball program at Scottsdale Community College, “Home of The Fighting Artichokes”.
Coach Boling is the Head Cross Country, Head Boys and Girls 7th Grade Basketball, and Assistant Track Coach at Heatherwood Middle School. He is also a volunteer assistant for Jackson High School Track and Field.
Coach Boling has his associate degree from Scottsdale Community College and is working on his bachelor's degree in education at Western Governers University (WGU). Dylan is also a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM and NSCA.
Coach Boling lives in Snohomish, WA with his wife, Natalie, who is also attending WGU to become a teacher.
