Kate Lewis has been passionate about basketball since the age of five and has remained involved in the game throughout her life. She played AAU growing up, competed in club basketball during college, and continues to play in recreational leagues today. Basketball is more than just a sport for her—it’s something that has been a part of her family as long as she can remember.
Beyond playing, Coach Kate discovered a love for teaching and learning in college, which naturally extended to coaching. She currently works as a full-time teacher and has coaching experience with Skyhawks Sports Academy. Coach Kate is also committed to continuous learning and professional growth. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in coaching and athletic leadership, furthering her knowledge to become the best coach she can be.
A devoted basketball fan, Coach Kate has followed the NBA closely since she was ten years old, when she became a dedicated Carmelo Anthony fan. Her passion for the game led her to become a lifelong supporter of the Denver Nuggets.
She is excited to begin her first year with the Lady Warriors and looks forward to helping athletes develop their skills and confidence on and off the court.

Roberto Garcia grew up in Everett, Washington and spent the majority of his childhood there. He played basketball for Everett High School and later went to Washington State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and played for the intramural leagues. Coach Roberto has experience coaching soccer and is ready to coach the game he really loves, basketball. With over ten years of experience of working with youth in and out of sports, Coach Roberto brings a positive energy to the team.
To Coach Roberto, teaching someone how to be a great person comes before teaching them how to be a competitor of any sport. Building essential skills like discipline and work ethic are things that players can take with them for the rest of their lives. Youth are like sponges and they are taking note of how we approach the game and life itself. I am grateful for the opportunity to coach and build up the next generation of hoopers!
